Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Aman Fix as a customer or technician. Read them carefully before registering and using the service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using Aman Fix you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any clause, please do not use the service.
2. Registration and account
You must be 18+ to create an account. You're responsible for: accurate info, password safety, and immediately reporting unauthorized access. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Platform role
Aman Fix is an intermediary connecting customers with independent technicians. Technicians are independent contractors, not employees. The platform vets documents and assesses quality, but the actual work is a direct agreement between customer and technician.
4. Customer obligations
Customers agree to: (a) pay the agreed price in full, (b) provide safe access to the address, (c) avoid abusive language, (d) review honestly, (e) not contact technicians outside the platform to dodge commission.
5. Technician obligations
Technicians agree to: (a) provide professional service, (b) arrive on time or notify of delays, (c) full price transparency before starting, (d) not push unnecessary parts on customers, (e) pay commission on each completed job.
6. Payment and commission
Customers pay cash or online via the platform. A commission (set in platform settings, 10% default) is auto-deducted from each transaction. Technician net = total – commission. Prices are transparent before the technician accepts.
7. Cancellation
Customers may cancel before technician acceptance with no fee. After acceptance and before arrival: a small fee may apply to compensate the technician's time. After arrival: no refunds. Technicians may cancel before arrival with stated justification.
8. Quality and reviews
Every service ends with a customer rating (1-5 stars) and optional comment. Technicians averaging under 3 stars across 5+ jobs may be suspended for review. Customers who repeatedly cancel without cause may have their accounts restricted.
9. Disputes
In disputes, notify the platform immediately. Support reviews both sides and rules within 24-48 hours. Platform decisions are final for service-related disputes, with the right to litigate under Egyptian law.
10. Prohibited content
Strictly prohibited: (a) using the platform for illegal activities, (b) posting offensive or discriminatory content, (c) attempting to hack the system, (d) fake accounts, (e) review manipulation. Violations lead to immediate ban and possible referral to authorities.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the platform (design, logo, text, code) is owned by Aman Fix. No copying or reuse without written permission. Reviews and comments you post remain yours, but you grant us the right to publish them on the platform.
12. Liability limits
Aman Fix makes the utmost effort to ensure technician quality, but is not liable for: (a) unforeseen damages to third parties, (b) technician delays due to outside conditions, (c) technician's technical decisions during work. Platform's maximum liability = the value of the specific transaction.
13. Changes to terms
We may amend these terms at any time. Material changes are announced on-site and by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Egyptian law. Disputes are resolved in the competent Egyptian courts at the company's HQ in Cairo.
