At Aman Fix, we respect your privacy and handle your data with utmost integrity and transparency. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it. Read it carefully — and reach out anytime with questions.
1. Data we collect
We collect essential data to provide our service: name, email, phone, location (when you request a technician), document images (technicians only), order history and ratings, and encrypted payment data. All data is stored on secure servers in Egypt.
2. Why we collect it
We use your data to: (a) create and log into your account, (b) match you with the nearest qualified technician, (c) process payments, (d) send order notifications, (e) improve the service based on aggregated (not individual) data. We never sell data to third parties.
3. Who can see your data
The assigned technician sees your name, address, and phone (to contact and arrive). Admins access data only to resolve issues. Beyond that, your data is not shared with anyone except our payment processor (Paymob) solely to handle the transaction.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — for login and sessions. No tracking cookies, no ads. You can review and control them in your browser settings.
5. Data security
Sensitive data (passwords, card numbers) is encrypted strongly. We use HTTPS for all connections and httpOnly session tokens. We perform routine security reviews. In the unlikely event of a breach, you'll be notified within 72 hours.
6. Your rights
You can at any time: (a) view all your data from the 'My Profile' page, (b) edit it, (c) request account deletion (contact support), (d) request a copy in machine-readable format (CSV/JSON). EU users enjoy full GDPR rights.
7. Data retention
Account data: kept while active. After deletion: personal data wiped within 30 days. Order/payment records: kept for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes, but disassociated from your name after deletion.
8. Children
Our service is for users aged 18+. We don't knowingly collect data from children. Discovered child accounts are deleted immediately.
9. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes are announced via in-app notice and email (if on file). Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new text.
